Birth Doula Package

As your doula, I’m here to support your through pregnancy, labor, birth, and early postpartum period. That support is different for each family, and I tailor my approach to suit your needs. Here’s what the essentials of working with me looks like:

Prenatal Support

  • A complimentary meet and greet. Let’s get to know each other and see if it’s a good fit.

  • Unlimited phone, text, and email correspondence. I love to hear from the families I work with. Whether you’re looking for evidence-based information on delayed cord clamping, a bodywork referral for a mysterious sensation that just won’t go away, a childbirth education course that fits your schedule, or a compassionate ear, I’m here for you.

  • Two prenatal visits in the comfort of your own home. We dive into your birth preferences and figure out how best to work together. What makes you feel calm and safe? How can I best support you? What do you want your birth to look like? How are you feeling about the postpartum period? What can we do to prepare for life with a new baby?

  • Being on call for you 24/7 from 37 weeks of pregnancy until the birth. That means you’re on my radar, and I’m ready to join you whenever you need me. Birth is unpredictable, and if your baby comes before I’m technically on call, I’m still here for you.

Labor and Birth Support

  • Phone support in early labor. I help you navigate the the beginning stages of labor until you want me to join you. I provide friendly reminders and suggestions, so you can decide what feels good.

  • Coming when you need me. Once you decide you’d like me to join you, I meet you at your home, the hospital, or the birthing center.

  • Continuous emotional, physical, informational support and advocacy. I’m there with you through the entire labor experience. The support I provide is dynamic and evolves with your needs. From massage to information to curating the space, I’m ready to be there for you as labor unfolds.

  • Assisting with the initial feeding. However you plan to feed your baby, I’m there to help. That may be watching your baby latch on their own or hand expressing colostrum—whatever you and your baby need.

  • Making sure you’re settled. After the birth, I stick around (typically) for one to two hours to make sure everyone is fed, secure, and ready to enjoy one another.

Postnatal Support

  • Checking in. I like to see how you’re doing the day after the birth, and if there’s anything I can do to make the transition into parenthood smoother.

  • One postpartum visit in your home. Our chance to see each other again and rehash the birth experience. You can ask any me any questions, and I can provide support with feeding your baby.
